Surah Al-Gasyiyah Ayat 1 (هَلْ اَتٰىكَ حَدِيْثُ الْغَاشِ...)

هَلْ اَتٰىكَ حَدِيْثُ الْغَاشِيَةِۗ

Sudahkah sampai kepadamu berita tentang (hari Kiamat)?

Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?

Allah menyindir penduduk neraka dengan mengatakan, "Sudahkah sampai kepada kamu berita tentang hari Kiamat."

Has there — there has indeed — come to you the tiding of the Enveloper? the Resurrection so called because it ‘envelops’ creatures with its terrors.
