وَلَىِٕنْ قُتِلْتُمْ فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ اَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ
Terjemahan Indonesia:
Dan sungguh, sekiranya kamu gugur di jalan Allah atau mati, sungguh, pastilah ampunan Allah dan rahmat-Nya lebih baik (bagimu) daripada apa (harta rampasan) yang mereka kumpulkan.
English Translation:
And if you are killed in the cause of Allah or die - then forgiveness from Allah and mercy are better than whatever they accumulate [in this world].

IndonesiaKemudian ayat itu menerangkan bahwa tidak ada hal yang perlu ditakuti oleh orang yang beriman apabila mereka berjihad di jalan Allah, kerena andaikata mereka gugur atau mati, niscaya mereka akan memperoleh ampunan dan rahmat dari Allah. Itu adalah jauh lebih baik bagi mereka daripada harta rampasan perang atau kekayaan duniawi yang fana ini.
